Jacqueline Bracero is a senior international relations major with a minor in visual communication design at St. Mary’s University. Bracero has attended St. Mary’s since fall 2014 and currently is a second-year resident assistant. Her previous work experience includes an internship at the World Affairs Council of San Antonio and work-study position for the Law Administration at St. Mary’s School of Law.
At St. Mary’s, Bracero participates in various programs such as the President’s Ambassadors, a hospitality program where students represent the President of the University, as well as the Eugene Scassa Mock Organization of American States (ESMOAS), a competition that gives students the opportunity to work in a diplomatic forum to discuss topics considering the western hemisphere. Bracero is bilingual in English and Spanish with an understanding of basic French. In her spare time, Bracero volunteers for events such as 5K races and community gardens.
Bracero hopes to attend graduate school and eventually work for the U.S. Department of State as a foreign service officer.
